This page explains what Denver Colorado Insulation collects when you use the quote form, why we collect it, and who it's shared with. Plain language, no dark patterns.
Who is collecting my information?
Denver Colorado Insulation is operated by Omar Blasgen, an individual — there is no separate company behind the name. He is the party who collects and holds the lead data described on this page, and the person your requests under this policy go to.
What information do you collect?
Only what the quote form asks for. Required: your name and phone number. Optional: email, property address or ZIP, service needed, approximate home size, and any notes you add. If you submit from a calculator, the numbers you entered and the result travel with the form so the contractor has context. We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers or any government ID.
Why do you collect it, and who sees it?
One purpose: connecting your project with a local, independent retrofit insulation contractor who can quote the work. Submitting the form is asking us to hand your details to that contractor — the sharing is the service. A notification email containing your submission also goes to our own inbox so the routing can happen, and the email service that delivers it (SendGrid) processes it in transit. Nobody else sees your submission.
Is my information sold?
In the everyday sense, no — no data brokers, no marketing lists, no advertisers. That is what "we never sell your info" on the form means, and it is true. But Colorado's privacy law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly, and because we may be compensated for referring your project, the hand-off to the contractor may itself count as a "sale" or "share" under the Colorado Privacy Act. We would rather over-disclose than lawyer the word: submit the form and your details go to one contractor, and we may be paid for that referral. You can opt out of that sharing (below) — but because the sharing is the service, opting out means we cannot connect you with a contractor. There is no version of this service without the hand-off.
How is it stored?
Submissions are stored in our database and in a receipt log we keep to confirm each form actually went through. The site is served over HTTPS, so your submission is encrypted in transit. Your IP address is stored only as a scrambled one-way fingerprint (a salted hash) used to block spam and abuse — we do not keep your raw IP address. Notification email is delivered through SendGrid.
How long do you keep it?
Lead records and the submission receipt log are kept for 24 months from submission, then deleted. Ask us to delete your information sooner (below) and we do that instead of waiting out the clock.
Do you track me or use cookies?
No. This site runs no analytics, no advertising or social pixels, no third-party tracking scripts, and sets no cookies. There is no behavioral profile of you anywhere in this system. We also do not send you marketing email — the only email our system sends about your submission goes to our own inbox, not to you.
What are my rights under Colorado law?
The Colorado Privacy Act gives Colorado residents the right to access the personal data held about you (including a portable copy), correct it, delete it, and opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" described above — with the honest consequence already stated: no sharing means no contractor connection. To use any of these, email leads@denvercoloradoinsulation.com and say what you want. No form, no account, and no verification theater beyond confirming you are who you say you are. If a request is declined, you can appeal by replying to the answer, and the appeal gets a fresh look rather than a rubber stamp. This policy and any dispute under it are governed by Colorado law.
